Our Brand Story
We are an ethical activewear brand empowering movers and makers. Dharma Bums has grown from a small studio on Sydney’s northern beaches, to a much loved activewear brand seen across the globe. Targeting the needs of the conscious consumer and providing ethical and sustainable activewear.
We will continue to lead the way in creating performance driven, ethical and sustainable activewear that makes our footprint on the earth a little lighter.
Meet the Founder & CEO Debbie
Yoga teacher and founder Debbie started the company out of the frustration about not being able to purchase ethical and sustainable activewear. Started in 2014, her vision for activewear is to combine performance with purpose without compromising on quality or sustainability.

THE DESIGN TEAM
Introducing our design team. Comprised of Pirra our head designer, senior print designer Jess, Mel our garment tech and newest member, garment designer, Paige.
This powerhouse team work tirelessly to bring you all your favourite best selling products. With a focus on textile innovation and sourcing ethically produced and eco-friendly fabrics that make you look and feel fabulous.
THE MARKETING TEAM
Our Marketing team work closely to strengthen and develop the Dharma Bums brand and community.
Our designers Martine, Kiera and Rosie bring experience from varied design backgrounds. Working on a broad range of designs to ensure you are kept in the loop with the latest news and collection arrivals.
RETAIL & CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM
We have a fantastic customer service team who are nurturing and supportive to our customer base. Rosie, Alana and Sarah deliver outstanding service & advice across the team.
These girls are the epitome of enthusiasm and laughter, providing thoughtful responses while assisting our customers with their queries. Ensuring you receive your Dharma Bums orders promptly.

We have a team of very experienced local makers. A group of 20 strong women, who empower one another and share their expertise.
